Reviews and Ratings <br />
My stay at the Islander Inn was a mixed bag. The oceanfront view was fantastic, but there were several issues that detracted from my experience. The lack of housekeeping without advance notice was inconvenient, and some amenities, like the elevator, were not functioning during my visit. However, it was a nice getaway overall, especially with the offseason pricing.
Our stay at the resort was quite a mix. While the pet-friendly aspect and spacious layout were great bonuses, we faced significant issues with room assignments and cleanliness this time around. The pools and outdoor areas felt neglected compared to previous visits, and we were disappointed by the late checkout process. Despite the setbacks, the staff was pleasant, and the overall amenities provided good value for a family getaway.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, right by the ocean with some stunning views. The rooms looked modern and were generally clean and comfy, but they could definitely use some updates. The service left something to be desired, particularly during busy times. The breakfast options were quite limited, and the pool area, while nice, could use more attention. Overall, it’s a decent choice if you’re looking for a beach getaway, but it’s not without its issues.
We had some nice moments during our stay, particularly enjoying the oceanfront view and seeing wildlife from our balcony. However, the hotel is somewhat outdated and has serious noise issues between rooms, which really took away from our experience. It's dog-friendly, which we appreciated, but I can't recommend it for families due to noise complaints and lack of soundproofing. Overall, it’s decent for an off-season visit, but not ideal when it's busy.
I had a great time at the hotel, especially with the oceanfront view from my room. The front office staff, particularly Ms. Alex, was amazing and very helpful during check-in. The included continental breakfast was a nice touch, and I appreciated the upgrades being made around the property. However, it was disappointing that the outdoor pool was closed during our stay, which would have been a bonus. Overall, it's a charming place with friendly service and beautiful upgrades in the works.
